Why is Hebrew and Israeli culture important to all early Jewish education contexts?  How can Hebrew and Israeli culture be integrated into different early childhood settings?  We will discuss the challenges and successes relating to the incorporation of Hebrew and Israeli culture into existing curricula and program goals.

Chantal Lawrence, ELC Brighton/Brookline JCC - Sharing her experience of after-school Hebrew enrichment (Hebrew Play) and how it dovetails with the broader goals of daily Hebrew learning at the ELC.

Sara Sinai, Kehillath Israel - Sharing prior experience with a Hebrew immersion pre-school that she directed.

Johanna Perlin, Temple Shalom - Sharing the perspective of integrating Israel and Israeli culture through experiential learning.

Revital Ganzi, Hebrew Play - Sharing how to teach Hebrew using the "Proficiency approach" in early childhood contexts.

Yael Assaf, Israeli School of Brookline & The Muse - Sharing how to teach Hebrew and Israeli culture through the arts.
